NOA Mini reacts — even without a button press
In certain situations, the NOA Mini can raise the alarm even without a button press: when it detects a fall, leaves a safety zone or does not move for a long time. Not every fall is detected – the button remains the most reliable way. The NOA Watch does not have these functions.

If the device leaves a defined area, the stored contacts are notified automatically – with the location. Please obtain the consent of the person wearing the device in advance.
Inactivity alarm (NOA Mini)
If the device does not move for an unusually long time, NOA automatically informs the trusted contacts. What is measured is the movement of the device, not the condition of the person.
24/7 emergency call centre (NOA Mini, if switched on)
If the emergency call service is switched on (NOA Mini) and nobody in the family answers, NOA calls the 24/7 emergency call centre – which sees the alarm together with the location.

What is a mobile emergency button for seniors?
A mobile emergency button for seniors is a portable alarm device with its own SIM card and GPS. At the press of a button, NOA first alerts family members with the location, and the NOA Mini also calls them; if the emergency call service is switched on for the NOA Mini and nobody answers, it finally calls the 24/7 emergency call centre. Unlike a stationary home emergency system, NOA works across Europe, including on the go, with no smartphone or landline required. This means people who live alone can quickly call for help in an emergency – at home, in the garden or out and about.
What does NOA really cost — are there any hidden fees?
NOA consists of the device, which you buy once, and the NOA subscription, cancellable monthly or annually, which you take out in the NOA app after receiving the device. SIM card, mobile service, GPS location, messages and accessories are included; there is no activation fee. With the NOA Mini, you can switch on the 24/7 emergency call centre per device: the first takeover in a calendar month is included; every further takeover is subject to a charge. We will publish all prices at the start of sales.
Does the wearer need a smartphone or app?
No — using the device itself requires no smartphone and no app. The NOA Mini has its own SIM card, mobile connection, GPS, speaker and microphone. It works fully independently, even if the wearer doesn't own a phone. A trusted family member (the "reference person") configures contacts and devices once in the NOA app.
What happens if none of the three contacts answer?
With the NOA Mini, the process is a clear chain: 1. The NOA Mini calls the stored trusted contacts one after another and simultaneously sends the GPS location to all message recipients. 2. If the emergency call service is switched on for the device, the 24/7 emergency call centre is the last link in the chain: if nobody answers before that, NOA calls the centre, which initiates help if needed. 3. If nobody is reached on the first round, NOA automatically starts the chain again from the beginning. We recommend three trusted contacts with different daily routines. If a trusted contact’s voicemail picks up, the call counts as answered and the call chain ends. Ask your trusted contacts to switch off their voicemail for calls from NOA.
In which countries does NOA work?
NOA works in all EU countries plus Norway, the UK and Switzerland — 30 European countries in total. SIM card and roaming are included in the monthly service price — at no extra cost.
What is the difference between NOA and a classic home emergency button?
A stationary home emergency system only works within range of its base station; in an emergency, the emergency call centre answers first. NOA works at home and on the go, wherever there is mobile reception, and sends the GPS location. The NOA Mini calls your trusted contacts first – the 24/7 emergency call centre is the backup if you switch it on.
