NOA isn't a startup experiment.
Behind NOA stand GEOTRACE® and SISpro GmbH — specialists in tracking, safety systems, and reliable communication.
Proven safety tech — translated for everyday life.
We didn't invent a new system — we took existing, proven emergency-response technology and simplified it for the everyday life of seniors: one button, immediate help, no technical hurdles.
NOA reacts — even without a button press
Fall detection, safe zone (geofencing) and inactivity alarm: NOA helps even when pressing the button is no longer possible.
If the device leaves a defined area, family members are notified automatically — with live location.
If NOA registers no movement for an unusually long time, it automatically informs the trusted contacts.
If no family member confirms the alarm in time, the professional emergency call centre automatically takes over.

Common questions about the mobile emergency button
What is a mobile emergency button for seniors?
A mobile emergency button for seniors is a portable alarm device with its own SIM card and GPS. At the press of a button it first alerts family members – with a call and the exact location; if no one can be reached, the 24/7 emergency call centre automatically takes over as a backstop. Unlike a classic home emergency button, it works across Europe, indoors and outdoors, with no smartphone or landline required. This lets seniors who live alone stay independent and safe – at home, in the garden, or out and about.
What does NOA really cost — are there any hidden fees?
A one-time device fee: NOA Mini €69.99 or NOA Watch €69.99. You choose the plan directly when ordering — e.g. €24.99/month (cancellable monthly) or €274.89/year (annual plan). The 24/7 emergency call centre is always included. The first time each month that the 24/7 emergency call centre takes over an alarm is free of charge. Every further response costs a flat €15 – regardless of the outcome. This keeps the centre free for real emergencies. Optional add-on: voice announcement (+€5/month). SIM, roaming, GPS, messaging and accessories (lanyard, belt clip, wristband) are all included. No activation fee, no contract lock-in.
Does the wearer need a smartphone or app?
No — using the device itself requires no smartphone and no app. NOA has its own SIM card, mobile connection, GPS, speaker and microphone. It works fully independently, even if the wearer doesn't own a phone. A trusted family member (the "reference person") configures contacts and devices once in the NOA app.
What happens if none of the three contacts answer?
The process is a clear chain: 1. NOA calls the stored trusted contacts one after another and simultaneously sends the GPS location to all message recipients. 2. If nobody is reached on the first round, NOA automatically starts the chain again from the beginning. 3. If nobody confirms the alarm within the set time, the 24/7 emergency call centre automatically takes over and initiates help — so no alarm goes unanswered. We recommend three trusted contacts with different daily routines.
Does NOA work abroad?
Yes. NOA works in all EU countries plus Switzerland and the UK. SIM card and roaming are included in the monthly service price — at no extra cost.
What is the difference between NOA and a classic home emergency button?
A classic home emergency button only works inside the home at a base station and connects to an anonymous call centre. NOA is a mobile emergency button for seniors: it works across Europe – indoors and outdoors – sends the GPS location, and calls your own family first. That makes NOA a flexible home-emergency alternative, cancellable monthly and without a landline.
